A field day called "Pasture to Plate" will be held on Fri. Oct 26, 2012, focused on producing cattle for today's consumer.
The workshop will include tours of Andrew vanOostrum's farm and the OH Armstrong processing facility.
A representative from BIO, Jason Koudys, will also be demonstrating ultrasound carcass quality production technology.

The registration fee of $10 will cover a portion of lunch, and the remaining proceeds will go to support the NS 4-H Beef Team, which is travelling to the Royal in Toronto.
