PEI pumpkin weigh-off this weekend

Quebec: Cranberry markets growing
When Denis Bédard started growing the tiny antioxidant-rich berries in 1992, he was one of only four producers in Quebec. NL: Good year for cranberries
Great weather in central Newfoundland has cranberry farmers expecting a great harvest. Ten farms were set up in 2009, after the paper mill in Grand Falls-Windsor shut down. Should the EPA ban RoundUp?
US: The EPA is currently conducting a "Registration Review" of glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in the herbicide RoundUp. Some claims against it include: cancer links; birth defects; super weeds; and a pathogen that plagues animals (including humans) with infertility.
