As part of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) routine testing of various food products, a recent study released found that 94% of fruit spread samples tested did not contain undeclared sulphites.

ASHDALE, NS — Earlier this month, another successful crop of hops was harvested on Meander River Farm.
Located in Ashdale, Hants County, the farm is owned and operated by Alan and Brenda Bailey. It is considered one of the first attempts at growing hops on a commercial scale in Nova Scotia.
