| A study by Australian equitation scientists used RC cars to compare horses' response to the cars vs. human trainers.
The study seems to show that "round pen training may rely on the offset of states of fear, anxiety, or fatigue to reinforce the target behavior of approaching and following the trainer."

| Nova Scotians were in fine form at the recent Canadian Interprovincial Equestrian Championships.
Team NS brought home a silver medal in reining, and individual medals were won by Kaleigh Bennicke of Shelburne, and Mary-Ann Cranton from Margaree Center. Bennicke won bronze in junior rening, and Cranton took bronze in senior reining.
